Welcome to Reception

As the year progresses, we will be sharing lots of important updates and showcasing all the exciting learning happening in Reception.

For support with early literacy, please see the Grapheme Information Sheet, which lists the graphemes taught in Autumn 1 for you to practise with your child. This year's phonics overview is also on the Reception's knowledge organiser, following the Little Wandle scheme.

This half-term, pupils are exploring Promise and Prophecy in R.E. Please see the relevant vocabulary sheet to support your child’s learning at home.

As mentioned, Reception’s Knowledge Organiser is also attached. This includes how learning prepares pupils for Year 1.
