Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to the Summer term 2 in Year 3!

This half term, we have lots of exciting learning ahead. In English, we will be reading A The Tin Forest and developing our reading and writing skills through a range of creative activities.

In Maths, we will be learning about money, time, shapes and statistics. We will also be applying our new learning to a range of problem-solving activities. In RE, we will be exploring Branch6 – Dialogue and encounter

Our wider curriculum will see us exploring new topics across a range of subjects. We will continue to develop our geography enquiry skills as we learn about the the Kersal Wetlands, and take on the role of scientists as we investigate plants in Science.

Swimming will continue to take place on Friday mornings, so please ensure your child comes prepared each week.

Our summer trip will take place on Thursday 2nd July, where we will be visiting Linnet Clough Activity Centre in Mellor.

It’s set to be another busy and engaging half term!
